What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a dynamic health care profession with an established theoretical and scientific base. Physiotherapy has widespread clinical application and is concerned with human function and movement, and maximising physical potential. Physiotherapy treatment techniques are aimed at removing muscular, joint and nerve symptoms from either acute or chronic injuries. They restore normal function and mobility and provide patients with skills to help manage their problem long term.

Physiotherapy aims to prevent recurrence of injury by working with the client to develop strategies to manage specific problem areas.

Physiotherapy is science-based. Clinical skills and judgments are continually developed and updated after reviewing and evaluating the research evidence that underpins the profession.

Using a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, education, lifestyle advice, soft tissue techniques, and electro-physical modalities, Peak Physique Physiotherapy will continually strive to enhance health and maximise the potential of each client.
